Long-distance hiking is not just a trend – long-distance hiking is much more than just about finding yourself. On six, partly isolated stages of the KAT Walk you can re-discover yourself, experience the special natural surroundings in the Kitzbühel Alps and enjoy unique culinary highlights.

• Metzgerwirt hiking information area, bespoke, individual advice daily and
  recommendations for your tour planning
• Free hire of rucksacks, wet-weather gear and umbrellas, as well as poles for Nordic Walking
• Daily guided hikes organised by the tourist office
• Laundry service for your mountain clothing
• Hiking –ski lift passes issued directly in the hotel
• Pick-up service for hikers and Nordic Walkers (for a fee)
• Free loan of GPS units – as well as creation of GPS tracks
• Individual GPS tracks
• For children - magnifying glasses for researching and exploring
• Heated drying room for when the weather is poor

Once a week we provide you with a guided hike to the ‘Lega Alm’, and enjoy a ‘Käsespätzle’ meal together from the traditional, genuine lumberjack frying pan.
Lega Alm is a popular excursion destination with our guests. A superb panoramic view to the surrounding mountains, in particular the Wilder Kaiser mountains –
your reward for the efforts of the climb.
