Aurach Wildlifepark

Enjoy nature all year round. The Aurach wildlife park, with the largest enclosure in the Tirol, is a paradise for all animal lovers. There are over 200 animals, including red deer, stags, mountain goats, Tibetan yaks, wild boar, kangaroos, barbery apes, uhus, and also a kids petting zoo.
The highlight of the day is the feeding time at 14.30.
A pleasant walking route takes you from Kitzbühel to Aurach (45 min.) and a road to the wildlife park (4 km).

Swarovski Crystal Worlds

Farmhouse Museum Kramsach

The largest outdoor museum in the Tyrol exhibits ancient farm buildings, rebuilt on this site in their original form. Get an overview of the different Tyrolean farms and the life of the farmer over the last centuries.

Coppermines "Kupferplatte"

As early as 3000 years ago, copper and silver was mined in this region. The mines in Jochberg, take you back in time. The old miners carts take you along the 145 meter long shaft, from where a guide will explain and demonstrate the different mining techniques, tools and areas.

Silvermines in Schwaz

For centuries, Schwaz was a rich town thanks to the copper and silver mines. The Schwaz silver mines, with the old miners carts demontrate the trade that developed here. A visit to the mines takes guests deep into the mountain and is an unforgettable experience for all ages.

"Kasplatzl" Cheese Dairy

In the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps in the Spertental-Rettenstein nature reserve lies the 'Schaukäserei' "Kasplatzl" cheese dairy (Hintenbachalm).

The cheesemaker comes from one of the Kirchberg farms. In 1950 he spent his first summer on the alpine pastures with his mother and experienced his first tastes of the cheesy aromas coming from the copper cooking pot above an open fire.
